About the Invention of Geox Shoes:
Geox is simply a comfort story. The secret is in the patented sole that lets the sweat out.
The main problem with rubber-soled shoes is the fact that they don't allow the feet to breath, thus sweat accumulates and causes unpleasant odors. The invention of the Geox perforated sole is unique in that it let the seat out and at the same time it is internally padded with special Geox membrane , which is both extremely breathable and waterproof.
The Geox membrane has more than a billion micropores per square centimeter. Each pore is about 20.000 times smaller than a droplet of water, so water can't penetrate them. On the other hand, each pore is also 700 times bigger than a moecule of sweat vapour, which can therefore easily pass through the sole, thus leaving the feet always dry.
